A FIRM behind the construction of two Blackpool schools has appointed a new member to its board of directors.
The Lancashire Enterprise Partnership (LEP), which built the resort’s St Mary’s Catholic College and Highfield Humanities College, has appointed Jim Carter, deputy chairman of the Eric Wright Group, to the board.
Mr Carter has a wealth of experience from his time in the building industry.
He said: “The LEP is doing exciting work and driving economic growth for the county.
“I’m looking forward to playing my part in making a real difference in enabling companies to prosper and create jobs.”
