Both in the same class, they are best friends, but Luke has a touching story.

Hide AdLuke has Cerebral Palsy which affects most of his body, but mainly his legs.
In order to improve his quality of life, he needs invasive surgery which is available in the UK but is not funded by the NHS, therefore the family has been asked to raise £25,000 to fund the operation and rehabilitation afterwards.
Dave and Sue Brewing, grandparents of Rose, said: “When Luke’s mum put on the internet that she needed to raise £25,000 for Luke, we just wanted to help.
“He’s always smiling, you just can’t help but love him.”
What’s more astounding is Rose’s reaction to the post saying “we have just got to help Luke!”

Hide AdRose has been proactively raising money for her best friend by hand writing letters to hundreds of people asking for raffle prizes.
Prizes flooded in – an impressive 26 in total, including a Lake Windermere cruise and a B&B evening meal plus two rounds of golf at the Garstang Country Hotel and Golf Centre.
Rose also baked cakes, and took part in a decathlon.
Sue added: “What’s nice is that a lot of the people who donated prizes are keeping in touch.”
Rose held the raffle at yet another event she’d organised at St Thomas Church, Garstang, on New Year’s Eve, raising an astounding £2,400 which will all go to funding ‘Luke’s Wish.’

Hide AdRose’s determination seems to have spread right across her family, including her grandad Dave Brewin.
Well known in the Cleveleys area for selling sweets for 21 years and now retired from Dave’s Sweets, Nutter Road, Cleveleys, he is organising a Charity Lunch on February 28, 11am-2pm at Garstang Country Hotel and Golf Club for Luke’s Wish.
Anyone is welcome to the event and all money raised will be going directly to Luke’s Wish.
The lunch includes food, live entertainment, raffle, bingo and quiz for just £10 admission.

Hide AdMarie Carter, Luke’s mum, said: “The whole Brewin family has been amazing and so supportive.
“We have been overwhelmed by the support we have had from friends, family and the community in the last few months.
“We have now raised £20,000 in total which means that we are able to book Luke’s operation at Alder Hey.
“We would like to say a massive thank you to everyone for their support and generosity in getting us this far.
