The Rocky Horror Picture Show will be shown at the Regent Cinema at 7pm until 10pm on Saturday, with guests dressing up as the iconic characters from the show to raise cash for Brian House Children’s Hospice in Low Moor Road, Bispham.

Event organiser Zoe Corry, 28, said: “My son was born at 24 weeks, and he was quite poorly. He couldn’t go to nursery or playgroup because of his illness, so he went to Brian House for sensory play, and he would not have had that without
the service.

“We don’t want to just stand around with buckets asking for money. We wanted to give people something fun to do.”

Tickets for the event cost £10. Everyone who dresses up as a Rocky Horror Show character – be it mad scientist Dr Frank N Furter, unlucky couple Brad and Janet, or the titular strongman Rocky – will get a free shot. A snack bar providing beer and popcorn will be open.

To buy tickets, contact Zoe Corry or fellow organiser Hannah Rawcliffe on their online fundraising page at www.facebook.com/ZoeHannahFundraising.
