People can go along to the Stanley Conservative Club on Common Edge Road between 3pm and 6pm when members of the project team will be on hand to answer questions.

From mid-March there will be changes to the roadworks in the area which are part of a sewer replacement scheme started in spring 2017.

Highfield Road will be re-opened to two-way traffic controlled by temporary traffic lights, while part of Midgeland Road between Highfield Road and Magnolia Way will also return to two-way traffic.

The final piece of work on Midgeland Road will be a full road closure between Moss House Road and Progress Way for three weeks, which is expected to take place early in April.

The work is part of a project to upgrade the sewers which will help to keep Blackpool’s bathing water cleaner.

A new pumping station is also being built on land off Midgeland Road, as well as several drainage basins.
