People are being asked to join a group of volunteers who are planning a clean up of the Ribble Estuary near Freckleton.

The aim is to remove litter and rubbish from the estuary so that it does not make it out to the sea.

The LOVEmyBEACH organisation has arranged the event.

The next clean up will take place on Friday August 17 from 10am to 12pm and everyone is welcome with all equipment being provided to vounteers.

Everyone can meet at the bottom of Pool Lane by the path onto the estuary.
