Results delight at St Bede’s

Natasha Godsiff from St Annes was among those celebrating at St Bede’s RC High School, Lytham, as she gained nine A* grades and one A to provide the ideal boost towards her aim of a career in law.

The 16-year-old is now moving on the Cardinal Newman College, Preston to study law, psychology, philosophy and English literature and said: “I’m really proud. I was nervous coming to school to pick up the results but I am so pleased.”

Roisin Heron from St Annes has her sights set on a career in international business and was delighted with her five A*s, three As and a B. She is also off to Newman College to study economics, geography, maths and fine art.

Claire Hargreaves from Freckleton, with three A*s, five As and two Bs, and Jenny Wilson from Wrea Green, with seven As and two Bs, were happy with their grades as they aim for science-related careers, while Olivia Javed from St Annes, yet to decide on a specific career, picked up five A*s and four As.

Head Philip Grice said: “We congratulate our pupils on tremendous results .”
