From July 20, every household will get a Household Enquiry Form which must be returned to the council.

It ensures that the electoral register is up to date, with local elections taking place in Blackpool in May 2019. Neil Jack, electoral registration officer at Blackpool Council, said: “To make sure you are able to have your say at elections next year, simply check the form when it arrives and respond as soon as you can.

“Please don’t forget, it is a legal requirement to provide the information requested on the form and if you don’t you could be fined £1,000.”
