“There will also be a trophy for the best overall school.

“The winners and runners up with parents would be invited to a presentation evening at Blackpool Fire station.

“The winning designs will be displayed in store and put in The Gazette.”

The presentation evening will feature a guided tour and crews will show the equipment they use.

Entrants are asked to put their name, school year and school details on the back of the poster.

Prizes will be supplied by Sainsbury’s.

Entries can be posted or dropped off at Blackpool Fire Station, 62 Forest Gate, Blackpool, FY3 9RA.

If the competition is a success, it will become an annual event and each winning school will keep the trophy for a year.
