A woman twice stole from shops to live when she had no money after leaving prison.
Emma Wilson, 34, of Sherbourne Road, North Shore, pleaded guilty to two offences of theft.
She was sentenced to a three months curfew from 9pm to 7am and ordered to pay compensation of £175, costs of £85 with a £150 court charge plus £60 victims’ surcharge by Blackpool magistrates.
Prosecutor, Pam Smith, said Wilson stole a £175 Armani puffer jacket from Scots, Victoria Street on January 28.
On April 9 she was caught taking five bottles of vodka from the Co-op,Thornton.
Brett Chappell, defending, said his client stole the jacket only a couple of days after leaving prison because she had no means to live on.
She took the vodka after someone offered her £20 to steal alcohol for them.
