It is a return visit for the display team who are no strangers to Blackpool having starred in the resort’s air show in recent years.

They were also on duty for the opening of the Red Arrow’s themed Sky Force last year.

The air display is the highlight of a packed day of events at the Pleasure Beach involving RAF Association, the Air Cadets, Army and the Navy.

The army and navy will be offering career advice and there will also be fun interactive games.

Between 2pm and 4pm on Saturday the Band of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers will be playing in the park.
