It aims to provide items which have all come from other people’s unwanted items for hard-up families and bargain hunters.

But items will be lovingly restored and electrical goods will have a year’s warranty.

It is also offering a local delivery service.

The store is to be run by social enterprise and charity Furniture Matters, which is part of the Calico group, and which already runs Blackpool Council’s Bulky Matters bulky waste collection service.

The store, which opens later this month, will
be in Caunce Street and will open between 9.30am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday.

Items will also be
available to buy on its eBay store.
