A prolific shop lifter has been put behind bars for almost two months by Blackpool Magistrates’ Court.

Kalvin Abram targeted stores in the Booths chain on the Fylde coast.

He admitted three offences and asked for a further two others to be taken into consideration, the court was told.

Abram of Enfield Road, Blackpool, stole a total of £786.47 of food at the Lytham and Garstang stores, most of it meat.

The court heard that Abram had only just come out of prison for similar offences back in September this year.

His lawyer Gary McAnulty said that Abram had a heroin habit which he knows needs addressing.

The magistrates’ court jailed Abram for 60 days.
