Thousands of people are expected to visit Myerscough College’s Open Day and Country Fair on Sunday, June 12, where there will be an array of shows, activities, and demonstrations.
College principal Ann Turner said: “This year is shaping up to be our best yet.
“It’s always great to see happy smiling faces everywhere all over the campus.
“The whole day is an outstanding of everything Myerscough and all that is best within our sector.
“It really is a tremendous event, and the atmosphere created by the staff and students of Myerscough makes the whole place buzz.
“Our open day is now a massive event encompassing so many other mini events, activities and demonstrations. The challenge is to get round everything in one day.”
Highlights of the day will include equestrian shows, motorsport and machinery displays, agricultural shows and falconry demos, photography and floral exhibitions, sports, children’s activities, and the ‘Made in Lancashire’ food fair.
