Porn accused in '˜live octopus sex' trial

The 27-year-old is alleged to have had extreme pornography at his home showing a woman having sex with a live octopus.

The sea creature sex charge followed a raid by police at the home of James Hush at Boothroyden, North Shore.

Hush appeared before the resort’s magistrates on Friday charged with possessing what the charge stated was disgusting, offensive and obscene images of sex between a human and the eight-legged mollusc.

Hush is further charged with voyeurism-secretly taking pictures of females in the changing rooms of swimming pools.

Hush faces a total of 12 charges dating between 2013 and 2015. The other charges allege he possessed 15,942 illegal child sex images at least 1,000 of them at the worst category.

Magistrates sent Hush for trial at Preston Crown Court.

He was bailed on condition he does not access computers of mobile phones which can download and store images.

He must not have any unsupervised contact with children under 16 and must not enter any swimming pool or leisure centre in the UK.

His lawyer Sue Mugford said she did not wish to enter a plea at this stage.
