POOL have beaten the transfer deadline with a triple swoop.
DJ Campbell, Stephen Dobbie and Steven Husband have all signed in at Bloomfield Road.
Campbell was a huge favourite during his loan spell last season and arrives on loan from Leicester until the end of the season.
Dobbie, 27, also signs on a loan deal until the end of the season, with a view to a permanent stay if he does well.
He made his name in his native Scotland, where he began his career as a schoolboy at Glasgow Rangers.
Dobbie has since played at Hibernian, St Johnstone, Dumbarton and then Queen of the South, where he smashed 47 goals in 74 starts.
It was that kind of form that led to several clubs competing for his signature last summer when his contract at Queen of the South expired.
Dobbie had plenty of options but chose Swansea City, where Roberto Martinez had made it clear he wanted him. Unfortunately for Dobbie, Martinez went to Wigan just weeks later and new boss Paulo Sousa came in.
A combination of a change of manager and a rib injury hampered his progress and he has started just four league games for the Swans all season.
However, he showed what he could do in League Cup games against Brighton and Scunthorpe – scoring three goals in two outings.
Husband is a 19-year-old who has joined from Scottish Premier League side Hearts.
The midfielder is described as a tough tackling midfielder and joined Pool for a nominal fee.
A busy deadline day was made better with the news that Charlie Adam would also be staying at Bloomfield Road.
The skipper had been the subject of two 11th hour bids.
