Blackpool residents are being urged to share the 'stay at home' message by displaying a special poster in their windows.

Blackpool Council has made the poster available on its website for people to download in support of the national campaign as part of the fight against coronavirus.

Director of public health for Blackpool Dr Arif Rajpura said: “By reducing our day-to-day contact with others, we can limit the spread of the pandemic virus and ease the burden on the NHS.

"Although many Blackpool residents are following the guidance and remaining at home, we can all contribute further .

"I urge all our community to show support for the campaign by printing and displaying the poster wherever they can.”
