Police release update on condition of boy, five, who fell out of bathroom window in North Shore
It came this morning, after the youngster’s fall at teatime on Saturday.
A spokeswoman for Lancashire Police said that, remarkably, the boy escaped his ordeal with just minor injuries.

Hide AdHe was kept in hospital overnight for observation but released the following morning with “cuts and scrapes”, she said.
Officers were looking into the circumstances of the accident, but no arrests were made, she added.
The boy was airlifted to the specialist Alder Hey Children’s Hospital in Merseyside amid fears he had been more seriously hurt.
The yellow air ambulance helicopter was pictured on the nearby Claremont Park at around 5.20pm, while one witness described seeing several police cars in the area.
The ambulance service said paramedics were called to the home at 4.55pm.
