Police hunt for knifeman
The woman underwent an horrific ordeal as the man grabbed cash.
The man brandished a kitchen knife at the lone female cashier at Ladbrokes, Church Street, Blackpool at around 6.30pm on Thursday, June, 11.

Hide AdThe store was empty and the man jumped over the counter and demanded the cashier open the tills before taking cash and leaving.
Fortunately the cashier was not injured and he only got away with a small quantity of cash.
But now Lancashire Police want your help to identify the alleged culprit.
DS Steven Harry, of Blackpool Police said: “Clearly this is a serious offence which has left the cashier very shaken.

Hide Ad“If it were not for her sensible approach to the situation she may well have suffered injuries at the hands of this male.
“Offences of this nature are rare and there have been no other recent similar offences reported elsewhere in the Fylde Coast.
“The suspect is believed to be a local man, described as stocky with short, shaven grey hair.
“We would appeal for anyone who knows this man, or where he may be, to contact us.”
