Police have cordoned off a stretch of road in Blackpool near a care home building
Emergency services vehicles arrived at the Amber Banks Care Home in Clifton Drive shortly after 9am on Friday.
Police confirmed that Lancashire Fire and Rescue urban search vehicles were called in to assist in the operation.
Officers have set up a perimeter while investigations area carried out following the reports of a burglar in the area.
