MAGISTRATES told a Blackpool man his behaviour needed addressing after they heard police had been called 18 times to deal with domestic incidents at his home.
Lee Berry, 42, of Normoss Road, appeared before Blackpool Magistrates after being found guilty of assault.
He was given a two year community order which must include a domestic violence court. He was told to pay £200 court costs.
Pam Smith, prosecuting, said Berry had been drinking when he became involved in a row with his partner and her mother.
It ended up with Berry grabbing hold of the mother’s hair and she fell to the floor.
Trevor Colebourne, defending, said at one stage during the row his client had been assaulted.
He had to be helped by neighbours out of the house for his own safety said Mr Colebourne.
