A glittering event saw the newest Miss Blackpool handed her tiara in front of a packed crowd of all ages.
An audience ranging in age from five to 90 years old packed into the Paradise Room, at Blackpool Pleasure Beach, to watch the grand final of this year’s Miss Blackpool contest.
The competition is the longest-running seaside beauty pageant in the country and organisers, Angels Elite Models, said Sunday night’s event was a big success once again.
The crown went to 20-year-old Lydia Murray, of Horwich, Bolton, with Blackpool’s Eden Paige Kippax named as runner-up and Keely Atkinson Strutton, of Blackpool in third place.
The girls performed two routines as part of the catwalk show, which also included an evening wear and swimwear round.
