A charity is seeking volunteers from the Fylde coast to support people with physical or learning disabilities and older people.

Community Service Volunteers (CSV), the UK’s largest volunteering charity, is asking local residents to help the charity by becoming a full-time volunteer while gaining new skills to increase their employability.

CSV, which runs volunteering and social action programmes, has 20 placements around the UK, including in Lancashire, which need to be filled by full-time volunteers.

The volunteers would be providing companionship and support and helping with practical tasks such as shopping, cooking, personal care or helping access social and leisure activities.
