Pig nicknamed ‘Cookie’ found lost on Layton street

Police have appealed for the owner of a spotted piglet to come forward after the animal was spotted wandering on a Layton street.

The pig was found by a member of the public on Talbot Road near Layton Cemetery at around 2.20pm yesterday.

Nicknamed ‘Cookie’ by officers, the pig is around a foot long and 10 inches high, with a ginger body and black spots.
