DETECTIVES investigating a nasty attack in Staffordshire say the man they are looking for may be somewhere in Blackpool.
Kevin Williams, 26, from Liverpool, is wanted in connection with the domestic violence incident which took place in Burton in June.
It is believed Williams could be in the Manchester, Merseyside or Blackpool areas where police say he has extensive connections.
Officers are now appealing for help from the public to track him down.
Chief Insp Steve Maskrey, the East Staffordshire Borough Local Policing Team Commander, said Williams may look different to how he appears in the photograph and should not be approached.
He added: “Our detectives are working with colleagues from other forces carrying out extensive inquiries to trace and arrest Williams and are appealing for assistance from the public.
“It is believed he may have grown his hair, which is ginger and may now have a beard.
“Therefore his appearance may be different to his photograph.
“Anyone who knows of his whereabouts should not approach Williams but should contact Staffordshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 669 of June 26.
“Alternatively, they can contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
