A photography project has been set up to promote breastfeeding in Blackpool due to the area having low figures.
Photographer Richard Hardwick has arranged the project and said he is working closely with the women currently promoting breastfeeding in the area.
“I have a group of women who have volunteered to be photographed at a variety of public locations around Blackpool.
“The final prints will be exhibited at The Space in Blackpool town centre in September.”
Figures for Blackpool in 2013 showed 26.6 per cent of infants were being breastfed at age six to eight weeks compared with the average of 47.2 per cent.
