Person found safe on shore after Blackpool RNLI callout

Blackpool RNLI volunteers were called out at 5.40am on Saturday to reports of a person in the sea off Central Promenade.

One D Class lifeboat launched and the area searched the area but the person was found safe on shore by Lytham Coastguard and the lifeboat returned to the station.
