The arrival of Storm Arwen has brought a temporary halt to Blackpool's Christmas festivities on the prom.

The new Star Flyer ride and ice rink are shut with winds of 60mph expected on the Fylde coast. Despite that, our photographer Dan Martino braved the conditions to get these pictures.
