Six year-old Eva Jean Mawdsley, a year one pupil at St Teresa's Catholic primary school in Cleveleys, loves to read and wants to encourage all children listen to a bedtime story during lockdown.

Mum Karen Feather decided to set up a Facebook page on Friday April 17 to enable Eva Jean to read stories to children every evening.

Karen said: "Eva Jean absolutely loves reading, she's always got her head in a book, she especially loves Horrid Henry books, and she really likes YouTube.

"She thinks reading a bedtime story is the most important part of the day, and I agree with her.

"She's hoping to read to everyone in England eventually, luckily we've got three big shelves filled with books so hopefully we won't run out before the lockdown ends.

"Parents and children are welcome to make suggestions if they'd like her to read something. I'm really proud of her, she's just been fantastic."
