A real treat in store with good friends

When Joanne Howard and Louise Creasey worked together in the skin care industry, they promised that if either one decided to open a studio, they would do it together.

And they have done just that.

The friends have opened The Treatment Rooms on Poulton Road, in Fleetwood, with the primary focus being facials, while also offering massage and waxing.

Louise has worked in the industry for 17 years, building a very loyal following of customers during her time at Karen Taylor Beauty in Thornton.

And Joanne has 16 years’ experience – having worked in various places before going on to work for Dermalogica, the brand they will be using in the new centre, as a business development consultant at the Spa Hotel at Ribby Hall.

She said: “Just over four years ago, I decided to set up from home and have continued to go from strength-to-strength – building up a regular clientele.

“I have also continued education and gained the prestigious expert status from Dermalogica.

“We decided to set up together as we both have young families, yet want to continue growing within the industry and really want to concentrate on offering the best possible treatments for a reasonable price in a relaxed environment.

“We feel everyone should feel comfortable going for treatments.”
