Outdoor treats scoring with Fylde film fans

A second outdoor screening of Grease in Lytham has sold out – but fans of the musical can still catch it at Mill Farm Sports Village.

AFC Fylde’s home at Wesham is joining Lytham’s Lowther Gardens in showing a programme of drive-in films, organised by Lowther Pavilion management, and Grease is scheduled for August 13.

While the films at Lowther are being shown on Fridays, the Mill Farm programme is on Thursdays, starting on July 23 with Dunkirk.

Grease (inset) proved so popular at Lytham that it quickly sold out and was extended to a second night, which has also sold out.

The rest of the schedule at Lytham is : July 24 – Rocketman; July 31 – Dirty Dancing; August 7 – Mamma Mia!:Here We Go Again; August 14 – La La Land; August 21 – A Star Is Born; August 28 – Hairspray; September 4 – The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

At Mill Farm, the films shown will be: July 23 – Dunkirk; July 30 – Back to the Future; August 6 – Mamma Mia; August 13 – Grease; August 20 – Fisherman’s Friends; August 27 – Rocketman.
