Richard, who works at Discount Double Glazing in Blackpool was there at Paris' side as little Willow-Rose was born.

He said: "It was a fantastic moment for both of us."

The couple's other children are Hollie Louise, aged five and Daisy-Mae, aged nine.

Willow-Rose's arrival was also great news for her grandparents, Alan and Susan Edington, of Grange Park, and Richard's mum, Julie Stephens.

Although Willow-Rose was the first, she wasn't the only baby born at Blackpool Victoria Hospital on New Year's Day.

A spokesman at the hospital said there were three boys and three girls born there on the first day of the year.
