The Poulton mum has just launched a new clothing range for children, at her shop Jasmine’s Boutique, on Lord Street, Fleetwood.

She has named the new range Noah’s Ark, after her son Noah, who is now one-and-a-half years old.

The shop already offered women’s clothing, shoes and a beauty room.

Business graduate Jasmine, 23, said: “The range covers from newborn to 14 years, it’s for boys and girls.

“I’ve tried to have as much boys wear as girls, as I have found, being a mum with a son, there’s usually lots more items available for girls than for boys.

“There’s T-shirts, dresses, hand-made dickie bows for the boys and hair-bows for the girls, bibs, clothes, accessories, a small selection of shoes, some little handbags for the girls and gift sets.

“There’s some really cute mother-and-daughter matching sets – for example, a T-shirt for mum which says ‘Key to my heart’ and a T-shirt for the little girl with a vintage key on it.

“A lot is items I have designed myself and had manufactured.

“I’ve had great feedback so far after the launch at the weekend.

“I’ve sold a lot of stuff already and people have said it’s something else we needed in Fleetwood.

“I think being local it’s important to me to keep things local.”

Jasmine’s Boutique won the New Business Of The Year Award in the Wyre Business Awards in December last year.

The business started online selling bespoke ladies wear, designed and manufactured by Jasmine, selected clothing, swimwear, shoes and accessories.

She has also organised a number of fundraising events in the community, including fashion shows and family fun nights.

She said: “Things are really going from strength to strength.”
