Mum Zoe, a graphic designer at Trinity, said: “He has always had an interest in music but never really wanted to take the leap and learn the keyboard until now.

“Last Christmas he took part in the Elf Run for Brian House at his school, and now he wants to help raise money for Trinity Hospice.

“He was really concerned when he heard me talking to his dad about the millions that Trinity could potentially lose this year due to Covid-19 restrictions.”

Several high profile fund-raising events have been called off due to social distancing rules, while the hospice’s charity shops remain closed.

Zoe added: “He is missing school and this lockdown learning project has brought a lot of laughter into our home during the restrictions. Many of his teachers have sponsored him, and he is featured in his school newsletter, which is wonderful. His dad and I are very proud.

“Trinity needs our support, and each little fundraising effort will mean a lot to those who need Trinity’s care.”
