Fundraising, fashion and fun were on the bill to help local babies
Samantha, of North Shore, held a fashion show at Fleetwood Town’s training venue, on Butts Lane, Thornton, to raise money for the Special Care Baby Unit at Blackpool Victoria Hospital.
She decided to help SCBU at The Vic to give thanks for the care given to her son Hendrix, now two, when he was born 12 weeks premature.

She sold 65 tickets to the event, which also includes stalls run by Poco Events – styling and hire (who provided a flower wall), Think Party Limited – party hire (who provided balloons), the Body Shop, and make-up and brow artist Katie Morris, who did the models’ and Samantha’s make-up for the evening.
She said: “The event was a fantastic evening. We had so many amazing comments on my clothes and how the evening went. To say it was my first event I am so pleased and very proud.
“We had an unbelievable raffle with so many prizes donated from local businesses. We did a number auction also for a yoga retreat trip.

“One of them is still active but up to now I have raised £624.”
Samantha said she was grateful to her mum Judith Loughlin and sister Sharon Bleakley, who modelled on the night, for all their help. And to the other models on the evening – Toria Kershaw, Jade Johnson, Diane Smalley and Zaneta Antoniewicz.
Samantha added: “The feedback I had was so amazing, everyone thoroughly enjoyed the night. I can’t wait to do another one and raise more money in the future.”
