A Blackpool Tower spokesman said: “Anti-Bullying Week helps more than 500 schools tackle the issue of bullying every year, and The Blackpool Tower Circus is hoping to help make an impact this year by hosting a series of talks for local and regional schools. Taking place in the Circus Arena, the talks will aim to help students deal with the issue of bullying in schools.”

The talks, entitled ‘Why bullies are weak’, will last for 45 minutes and will explain the truth behind bullying to students.

Anti-Bullying Week is organised by the Anti-Bullying Alliance and this year’s theme is ‘power for good’. Events will be taking place around the country.

The first class will take place on Monday November 14 between 1.45pm and 2.30pm with a session on Tuesday November 15 between the same times.
