Residents and businesses are invited to a public meeting of the newly-formed St Annes Enterprise Partnership at the town’s Palace buildings.
Anyone who attended the recent launch of the organisation, including retailers, hoteliers, restaurant owners, and representatives of community groups, is invited to go along on Monday, while anyone who was unable to make that event will be made more than welcome.
Popularly known as STEP, the Partnership was formed with the aim to improve all aspects of the town and, at Monday’s meeting, will be offering further information about upcoming events and asking for the input and help of volunteers to further its projects.
Last month’s launch, also held at the Palace in Garden Street, attracted around 100 visitors, more than 40 of whom registered their interest in getting involved.
STEP chairman Bev Wood said: “We were delighted with how the launch went and really pleased with the positive reaction from everyone who came along.
“All agreed that St Annes needs to push forward with programmes of activity which bring sustainable prosperity to our beautiful seaside resort.
“I have been a member of STEP for over a year now and in that time I have seen the group grow in numbers as well as in enthusiasm, and develop a viable action plan for our St Annes.
“I am passionate about this beautiful seaside town and want to ensure it continues to thrive for many years to come.
“We have been consolidating all of the feedback and ideas provided at the launch evening and that has helped us to prioritise the actions businesses and residents want to see happen.”
Monday’s meeting at The Palace runs from 5.30pm to 6.45pm.
