A MAN and a woman have denied the murder of a man who died months after he was allegedly attacked.

Jamie Perkes, 23, and Leanne Potter, 28, both of Central Drive, Blackpool, appeared at Preston Crown Court and pleaded not guilty to killing Allan Taylor on April 22 last year and a second charge of manslaughter.

Mr Taylor was allegedly attacked on New Years Day at a taxi office in Fleetwood and sustained a broken ankle which is said to have eventually led to his death after a blood clot formed.

A trial date was set for June 6 by Judge Anthony Russell QC. Both were granted conditional bail.
