It was the brain child of Shirley Eracleous, of Dream Team Singers and Chrissie Turkington of Capricorn Singers. They were inspired by similar concerts at London’s Royal Albert Hall anddecided to bring it to the Fylde
coast.

A spokesman said: “This  was an occasion of which the whole Fylde coast should be proud, many a much bigger community would struggle to match the smooth efficiency of the event and as for Talent- we’ve got it in spades.

“Afterword – should anybody be anxious about the future of live music in the area let them be reassured by the confident  and musically delightful performers of Shakespeare’s Elite School Choir – the future’s safe in their voices and enthusiasm.”
