'One night only' Peter Kay fundraiser in Blackpool gets extra date
The Bolton comic, who originally shot to stardom with Phoenix Nights and his live stand-up show at the top of Blackpool Tower, was already set to appear at the Opera House on Friday, December 2, for a Q&A to raise money for a mum with cancer.
Tickets went on sale at 9am today and proved so popular an earlier event has now been announced. It will be held 24 hours earlier on Thursday, December 1, a spokesman for the superstar revealed.

Hide AdAll profits will go to the Polly Haydock Appeal so Polly, from Peter's home town, can travel to Germany for specialist cancer treatment.
The award-winning comedian will discuss his phenomenal career in comedy, while the audience will discover insights into Peter Kay’s numerous successful award winning series, his stand-up shows, music career, and success as an author.
He will also be chatting about his music career, and success as an author.
The show will start at 8pm. Tickets are available here for a total of £38.50 each.
