A community group is preparing for its next big beach clean up.
For the second year running, Rossall Beach Residents and Community Group will host the national Big Beach Clean Up event at Cleveleys from 2pm on Monday, April 22.
The group looks after the shore and public areas of seafront at the northern end of Cleveleys all year round.
Marks and Spencer is also on board with the project and has teamed up with the Marine Conservation Society (MCS) to promote the event through their stores.
As a thank you for taking part, everyone who registers will not only get free M&S snacks on the day, but also a £5 voucher off a £30 food shop at the store.
Jane Littlewood, chairman of the croup said “It was at this event last year that we got to know the people from MCS and they’ve been a huge help to us in planning our future activities, as a result we’re planning an even better event for this year to thank them for their help.”
