North Promenade hotel on the market
A North Shore hotel has been put on the market with the agents citing ill health as the reason for the sale.
The New Hacketts Hotel on Queen’s Promenade is on the market, with an asking price of £1.5m.
The 100 bedroom hotel under went a refurbishment in 2015 and 2016. The agent, Colliers International, said the current owner, who bought it in 2014 now wants to sell for “health and retirement reasons.”
They closed it in 2014 for the first phase of a major refurbishment where 70 bedrooms were revamped. It opened in March 2015. The bar, restaurant and other rooms were done in 2016.
