A tenant in a flat above an IT shop alerted police after hearing bumps and bangs in the store below.
Henry McDonagh, 34, of High Street, and Peter Fowler, 41, of St Heliers Road, both of Blackpool, pleaded guilty to burglary of electrical items valued at £640.
They were refused bail and remanded in custody to appear at Preston Crown Court for sentence on September 24 by Blackpool magistrates.
Martine Connah, prosecuting, said the tenant of a flat above IT Components R Us, Church Street, heard the noise of smashing glass on August 27 about midnight.
Banging sounds coming from the shop prompted the witness to call the police.
The tenant then saw two men leave the shop and gave their description to police.
When the duo were stopped McDonagh had an electronic screen protruding from his jacket and Fowler was carrying a bag full of electrical items.
Martin Hillson, defending, said his clients had pleaded guilty at the first opportunity and the stolen property had been recovered.
