New website brand for Fylde animal nutrition team

Web specialists at digital design and marketing agency Motionlab have developed a new website for Lytham-based animal health and wellbeing products maker VetPlus.

As part of the kick-off process for the project, Preston-based Motionlab worked closely with the VetPlus team to research the VetPlus proposition, sales processes and target audiences.

Founded in 1995, Vetplus is part of the Tangerine Holdings group owned by Lytham entreprenuer David Haythornthwaite and exports to more than 30 countries worldwide.

It said the new website has a more clearly defined purpose than the previous site, primarily targeting consumers.

However, it still provides vets with an essential hub they can utilise to acquire all the technical information they may need, building brand affinity with both audience types.

Several of VetPlus’ international brands previously had stand-alone domains.

As part of the detailed web brief, Motionlab were also tasked with integrating a number of them into the new web platform. It has been designed too so that there is the capacity for the site to be translated and rolled out across international markets cost effectively in the future.

Phillipa Chadwick, head of marketing at Tangerine Holdings Ltd, said: “This website comes at an exciting time for VetPlus following a period of unprecedented growth and expansion both in the UK and internationally.

“Having a site that reflects the quality of our products is essential, and this platform will now be rolled out globally to ensure that we have a consistent brand presence worldwide.”

Motionlab CEO, Simon Iredale, said: “Capturing the web account for a globally renowned brand like VetPlus is another significant win for Motionlab in 2016.”
