Daniel Snape, a seven-year-old pupil of Lytham CE Primary School, won a competition to design the cover and the CD, which also features an instrumental version of the song, will be on sale at Club day, with proceeds going to Club Day funds.

The lyrics include:

Hear the music everywhere,

Happy faces in the square

It’s a celebration

See the dancing in the street

So come on and tap your feet

It’s a celebration

So get the party started, woah-oh-oh, ‘cause everyone is here

Yeah get the party started woah-oh-oh, there’s such an atmosphere

See the colours in the town

See the flowers and the crown

It’s a celebration
