The Groom Room in Pets Home Blackpool and Blackpool Warbreck, along with 82 other salons across the country, are recruiting local dogs to help them take part in a Guinness World Record attempt for 5,000 dogs washed in 12 hours.

The record attempt will take place on September 16 from 8am to 8pm.

To book your dog in for a £5 wash and dry on the day, contact your local salon at www.petsathome.com. The company has requested that only short-haired breeds take part.
