Motorcycle crash on Lytham Green

The Honda CBR600 bike and black Land Rover Freelander collided close to the Clifton Arms Hotel, on West Beach, Lytham, shortly after 8am this morning.

Police and ambulance crews were called to the incident, involving a male driver of each vehicle.

A witness to the incident said: “The motorcyclist was prone on the grass and did not look in a good way. The motorcycle was on the grass too.”

The motorcyclist suffered a broken leg and was taken to hospital.
