A man who went missing from his home more than a week ago may be in Blackpool, police have said.
People in the resort are being asked to look out for Michael Sweeney as concerns for his safety grow.
The 68-year-old was reported missing on Friday May 29 and was last seen near his home in South Oxhey, Watford. However, police say he has connections with the Fylde coast and may have travelled North.
Mr Sweeney is described as a white, medium build man who stands around 5ft 7ins tall. It is not known what he might be wearing.
Hertfordshire Police, who have now been searching for Mr Sweeney for close to two weeks, contacted Lancashire Police after it emerged Mr Sweeney may have travelled to the area.
Police say they are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.
Anyone who has seen Mr Sweeney or who knows anything about his whereabouts is urged to contact Hertfordshire Police on 101.
