Missing 15-year-old girl found in Blackpool after being spotted on CCTV

A missing 15-year-old girl has been found in Blackpool after disappearing from her home in Darwen at the weekend.

An urgent appeal had been launched to find Saskia Baldwin after she was last seen on CCTV at the Imperial Hotel in Blackpool at around 11.30pm on Saturday, July 25.

Police said they had been "extremely worried" about Saskia, who had not been seen in person since July 24 in Preston.

But the missing 15-year-old has now been found "safe and well" after officers located her in Blackpool this morning (Monday, July 27).

A police spokesman said: "Further to yesterday's release about the teenage girl reported missing from home in Darwen on Saturday night.

"She has now been found safe and well in Blackpool this morning.

"Thank you to everybody who supported and shared our appeal."
