Man on the run from Kirkham prison
Police have appealed for information after another prisoner walked out of HMP Kirkham.
Darren Price, 41, from Kirkby, went missing from the prison yesterday morning. He is serving a 56 month sentence after he was convicted of conspiracy to steal in May 2015. He is described as white, with blue eyes, receding dark hair and a Liverpool accent. He has several upper teeth missing and a small scar on his left arm. He has links to the Lancashire and Liverpool areas. His disappearance from HMP Kirkham comes just a few weeks after The Gazette revealed that a dozen convicted criminals, including an armed robber and a drug dealer, were on the run from the prison. Anyone who has seen Price or knows his whereabouts are asked to contact police on 101 quoting log number 573 of March 7.
