A reveller suffered a broken arm when he was assaulted in a Blackpool club.

The 31-year-old man was stood in the smoking area at Flamingo, on Queen Street, when he was approached by a group of men.

Detectives believe the unprovoked attack - at 2am on Saturday August 24 - involved the man being punched and kicked to his face and body.

Police are appealing for anybody who has any information about the assault to contact them.

DC Phil Palmer said: “This was a nasty assault and we need to find the people responsible.

“If you were in the club around the time of the incident and think you may have information which could help our inquiry then please contact us quoting log number LC-20130824-0973.”
